Giant Easter Eggs, Teens and that plastic grass that gets on everything.

It started last Saturday Night with Glow-in-the-Dark Mini Golf (which was awesome!) with the youth group, then a great Sunday Service the next morning.  Monday, I built the Giant Easter basket for Sunday at church.  You see every child who comes to Life Community Church on Easter Sunday will get to go to this Easter Basket and pick out a giant easter egg filled with candy and toys.

Which brings me back to my week.  I picked up my nieces on Monday and we spent the afternoon shopping for the toys to fill the easter eggs with.  Tuesday and Wednesday went by somewhat normally and then it got crazy again.  This week is Spring Break and I planned a youth group service project.  So Thursday we went and painted a kitchen through Project Mend-A-House.  It is always great to see teenagers serving selflessly.  And today we had the teenagers over to help us put the easter grass, candy and toys in all the giant Easter eggs.

An interesting week, maybe.  But to me, it is just another exciting week in ministry!!!
