This is awesome! Someone created a computer program that allows you to search for pictures in google (we all do it!) and then puts them in a montage (Like the one I made above of Hawk Nelson and Stellar kart- two Christian Bands)
It’s called Montage-a-Google (I know original right?) The next time you get bored, give it a try- google your own name, someone else’s name, an object, it doesn’t matter. If it is online, it will find it.
I love being involved in a church that loves you back! As you know, we just had a baby (by we, I mean Andrea. I just paid for it.) And one of the coolest things about having a baby as a member of Sycamore Creek Church is they try to provide dinners for family with new babies.
So for the next two weeks, we don’t have to cook dinner. People are coming over to bring us food, and hold our baby. I love it!!! And two weeks from now, We start to diet…
You ever run out to a store, go to pull in a parking spot and have to stop half-way in because someone thought that it was a good idea to leave their cart in a parking spot? The other night, we went Meijer and Target, and in the parking lot of both we found carts just sitting in the parking spots. In fact, they were sitting in parking spots not 20 feet from one of those cart holder things. And it made me wonder…
Are people really that lazy that they say to themselves, “you know twenty feet is just to far to walk, so the cart is fine here?” I bet these are the same people that get in their car, back out their driveway, get the mail, get back in their car and drive back into their garage.
Or are people just that selfish that they think the world revolves around them and since they are leaving nobody else will use that parking spot. Here is my suggestion…
Make every person that goes in to a store swipe their credit card to get a cart, then if that cart is not returned or if it does damage to someone else’s car in the parking lot because it was left sitting, the store has the card number on file and can use it to pay for the damages. Or if it is just left in the parking lot, they can charge the card like $50 for being lazy.
That would solve it…
Well now you can! You should go to the Jackson Pollack paint generator. It’ll open up and you can paint away. Just scroll your mouse across the screen to paint lines, and click the mouse to leave splotches of color and to change the color.
It’s like a techy way to doodle…and very relaxing. Try it, it’s fun!
That was the temperature that my car registered this morning when I left for work- 6 degrees. That doesn’t account for the wind or anything. It’s cold!
I have been in the office for about 25 minutes and I still can’t feel my toes. I think I am ready for spring…
There has been this big issue with obesity rates being so high in children. They have tried to change diets of children, update to healthier choices at schools for lunch, and all that. They even went so far as to remove soda machines from a lot of public schools.
Now, when we drove to the hospital for Brayden’s birth, what was sitting right outside of the hospital? Well, a Coke delivery truck. So I find it odd that we think that sodas are so bad that we take them out of schools, but we leave them in hospitals…
Seems kind of weird doesn’t it?
Everyone is doing well at the Stem house. Things have changed a lot since Brayden has come home, so let me give you a little update-
- Addison is loving her role as “Big Sister”. She tells everyone, “I’m the big sister now!” in her most excited cheerleader voice
- Addison loves giving Brayden kisses and she is constantly asking ,”Can I hold Brayden?”
- Andrea is doing well- she says she feels 100% better than she did with Addison (do you think that has anything to do with the 2 and a half hour labor as opposed to 20 hours with Addison?)
- Brayden is rockin’ the house. Eating great, and his sleeping is awesome. He gave us two 4 hour straight sleep times last night with a feeding in between. How awesome is that for a four day old?
- When his eyes are open (which is rare) he is really checking things out- turning his head to see where sounds come from and all that
- We’re not sure who he looks like yet, so we will have to see…
- Have our first funny diaper story- Last night at 2am he wakes up, Andrea feeds him and he lets it rip during the first half of the feeding. So at half-time of the feeding, Andrea goes to change his diaper. She takes the nasty diaper off, puts a clean one under him, and before she can get all done, he fills that diaper up. So she lets him finish (So she thinks), and then puts another diaper on him. At which time, he fills that one up and stops. By this time Andrea and I are laughing and I have to wonder if Brayden go joy out of it. He pooped in 3 diapers in one changing, and stopped in between so Andrea could put a new one on!
- We are so excited. I’ll post some more pics later!!!
A busy first day at home for Brayden. Let’s see, we gave Brayden his first bath at home (Addison cried because Brayden cried…how sweet!), had lunch with a bunch of family, had friends over to see the baby, and played at home.
Check out some of the pics…

Check out Brayden in his “going home from the hospital” clothes

Addison wanted to give Brayden kisses the moment he got home from the hospital!

Aw…the big sister holding her little brother!

Here’s a wide-eyed Brayden before his first bath!

Addison was so excited to be Mommy’s helper with Brayden’s 1st bath…until he started to cry!

Mommy is so gentle with a screaming Brayden!!! What a new experience!

Good-night Brayden! Addy loves you!
